Symptoms of dry eye include: 

  • A dry, gritty, or burning sensation in the eyes
  • Redness
  • Watery or teary eyes
  • Mucus that makes the eyes feel “glued shut” after sleeping
  • A feeling of something in the eye or eyestrain
  • Itching and light sensitivity
  • Blurred vision that changes after a blink
  • Eyes feel “heavy”, tired or fatigued
  • Difficulty wearing contact lenses comfortably
  • Difficulty with nighttime driving
